The Long Bay Residents’ Association and Long Bay Chinese Association are working together to focus their mutual efforts on the community ensuring the relationship provides better outcomes.
The Chinese Association represents the a significant proportion of the local community, fostering cultural exchange, social cohesion, and community well-being.
Both associations prioritize community, and engage in joint initiatives to enhance residents’ quality of life. Community events, workshops, and cultural celebrations strengthen bonds and promote inclusivity. Collaboration occurs, and is planned on projects such as neighborhood clean-ups, advocacy campaigns, and educational workshops.
Commitments extend beyond occasional events and involve sustained efforts to address community needs. Regular meetings, open forums, and feedback channels ensure ongoing dialogue, jointly addressing challenges like housing, safety, and environmental sustainability. – Taekwondo 9:30 – 10:30am ($)
– Yoga 11:30am – 12:30pm ($)
– Ballroom dance 1 – 3pm (P)
– Basketball 3 – 4:30pm (45min. each group) (P)
– Table tennis 2 – 4pm
Sundays during school terms
– Folk dance 1 – 2pm
– Model training 2 – 3pm
– Painting class 2 – 3pm (F)
– Zumba 3 – 4pm ($) (P)
