Amazing News! The Long Bay Residents’ Association in collaboration with Restore Hibiscus and Bays have won funding from Predator Free NZ to engage homeowners and roll out traps in residential areas to further protect the jewels of Long Bay – the Regional Park and Marine Reserve, encouraging native birdlife to flourish. We’re progressively making steps to help build a predator free and weed free halo around the Regional Park.
We’ll be working with Restore Hibiscus and Bays moving forward, with further communications to follow. In the meantime, Long Bay residents are invited to complete this Pest Control survey which should take approximately 3-5 minutes.
We’ll be using responses from this survey to communicate with you as appropriate for this initiative.
