Hello, Long Bay friends and neighbours, We are the operations team (Vicki, Michael and Sylvia) of Pinnacle Long Bay Retirement Village. Located on Glenvar Road, our Village will open in late 2026, becoming part of this beautiful, safe, and vibrant neighbourhood.

Imagine living where the bush meets the sea, with nature at your doorstep. Just three minutes away lies Long Bay Regional Park—the pearl of the neighbourhood, perfect for morning walks, family picnics, and quiet moments by the ocean.

At Pinnacle Long Bay, we hope to offer that choice. Living & Care Options
When we open in 2026, residents will be able to choose from:
- Independent living townhouses for those who wish to live freely yet connected.
- Assisted living villa ensuites, blending privacy with day-to-day support.
In later phases, we’ll add care units offering rest home–level care, so residents who need more support can continue to live with dignity and comfort in their own apartments.
Design & Aesthetics
A village is more than its buildings—it is how those spaces make you feel.
Our architects at JTB have created a design that blends the natural rhythms of New Zealand with subtle touches of Eastern aesthetics. Courtyards will be open havens where neighbours connect, and the clubhouse will be a lively heart for gatherings. These spaces are designed to nurture stories, friendships, and a true sense of belonging.

Even before our doors open, we have already established an Aged Clubhouse in Browns Bay. It has become a warm gathering place where seniors share meals, join activities, and rediscover the joy of belonging.

- Statutory Supervisor: Covenant Trustee – supervises most of New Zealand’s retirement villages and safeguards the wellbeing of residents.
And importantly, we proudly work with the Long Bay Residents Association and Restore Hibiscus and Bays, joining local efforts in predator control, helping to care for the natural beauty that surrounds us.
